Hello, I’m Theresa.
I’m an end-of-life doula, tax advisor, group facilitator, and grief tender. I am passionate about art, storytelling, spiritual herbalism, astrology, community grief-tending, and social justice.
As a death doula and tax advisor, I am uniquely qualified to support folx while they traverse these realms by providing:
non-medical support to the dying and their chosen inner circles at the end of life
one-on-one or group-facilitated grief support
guidance through the end-of-life planning process
inheritance coaching for child-free folx
income tax and small business consulting for therapists, doulas, and other helping professionals
an anti-capitalist approach to tax education and literacy
I believe that everyone has the right to an informed, supported, and peaceful dying process. I believe every human has the capacity to be with the dying, and that the dying knows best about what they need at their end of life. I believe that organized preparation and clear communication about our needs at the end of life is a loving gesture to both ourselves and those we leave behind. I believe that tending to our grief of all forms (personal and global) is a revolutionary act. I believe that you don’t have to consider yourself religious or spiritual to acknowledge and be with the sacred reverence of death and remembrance (and that humor is a welcomed part of the process).
I also believe in the right to accessible tax and financial knowledge. The tax system is complex by design, but understanding it is key to challenging its inequities and ensuring our social safety nets. I aim to empower everyone to grasp how taxes work and advocate for a system overhaul that promotes true equity.
Ultimately, a society informed about death and taxes is healthier, liberated, and more prosperous. Let’s navigate these challenges together with curiosity as our guide.
For in the realm of death and taxes, curiosity is key.
